EXTRA LARGE IS THE STANDARD

Towels cut for the way people actually dry

Black Tens Towels hanging from a brass rail

Cut long. Loomed dense.

Every line in this range is cut oversize for its class and woven at 600 grams per square metre, the weight hotels buy at.

Beige towels folded into a woven basket

One cotton, eighteen colours

The same loop runs through every collection, so a navy bath sheet and a navy washcloth bought two years apart still match.

“Nobody ever wished their towel was smaller.”

THE TEXTURED ONE

Popcorn weave, full set

A raised loop that grips water on the way in and lets air through on the way out. The whole bathroom set of two XL bath, two hand and four washcloths, in the texture you can feel from across the room.

What you are actually buying

The range explained the way we would explain it across a counter: weights, cuts, colours and the habits that make them last.

VALUE 01

What 600 GSM actually buys you

GSM is grams per square metre: how much cotton the loom packed into the towel. Under 400 is the thin, fast-drying cut of gym towels. 600 is where a towel starts to feel like a hotel's: it holds more water per pass, so drying takes fewer passes, and the pile stands back up after washing instead of matting flat.

The trade is honest, and we will make it for you rather than around you: a 600 GSM towel takes longer in the dryer than a thin one, and the care guide below tells you how to run that load properly.

VALUE 03

Washing that keeps the loops standing

Warm wash, full detergent, no fabric softener: softener coats the loop with the residue that makes towels stiff and less absorbent at the same time. Wash new towels once before first use, and give bath towels a hot wash at least weekly: the frequency dermatology guidance actually asks for, not the one the laundry basket votes for.

VALUE 04

The clean-towel rule at the sink

The CDC's five handwashing steps end with drying on a clean towel, and that last word is why our hand towels come six to a box. One on the ring, five in the cupboard means the swap happens when it should, not when the wash cycle allows.

VALUE 05

Washcloth arithmetic, done honestly

A washcloth wants replacing at least a couple of times a week. For one person that makes a dozen a fortnight of cover, and for a family it makes a dozen a rumour. That is why this range stocks the same square two ways: 12 for a household rotation, 60 for the households, gyms and salons that treat them as the consumable they are.

The per-cloth price falls with the case, and the case is the only pack we cut the price on. Everything else in the range is priced flat.

VALUE 06

Eighteen colours that agree with each other

The palette runs whites, creams, greys, blacks, blues and greens, dyed to match across cuts, so a bathroom assembled over years still reads as one decision. Darks hide makeup and beard trimmings, whites bleach back to true, and the greys sit between and forgive everything.

Every collection page shows its colours photographed in the same light, because a swatch chip tells you less than the towel does.

HOW THIS CATALOGUE IS KEPT

The figures, and where they come from

Prices and ratings

Every price on this site is the figure from our last update, dated on the page and in the footer. Prices move between updates; the button on each colour opens the current one, which is the only price that counts.

Ratings are re-read in batches on a schedule. Across the range the current figures come to 4.3 average over 37k ratings, counted once per towel family and never added across its colours: that would count the same customers fourteen times.

What we will not claim

No towel here is antibacterial, and we will not sell washable cotton as if it were medicated. Thicker is not always better: a 600 GSM towel dries you faster and itself slower, and both halves of that sentence stay on the page.

Dimensions and weights are our published specifications, stated as published. Where we have not measured a thing ourselves, we do not call it verified.

What we read, and when

Cleveland Clinic: How Often Should You Wash Your Bath Towels?. Wash-frequency and drying guidance from a dermatologist, Alok Vij, MD. Opened and read on 2026-08-02, before the sentences that cite it were written.

US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: About Handwashing. The five handwashing steps; the last one is drying on a clean towel. Opened and read on 2026-08-02, before the sentences that cite it were written.

Asked often enough to answer here

Why are your bath towels bigger than everyone else’s?
Because 27 by 54 was set by rail widths, not by people. Our standard cut is 30 by 60, three inches wider and six longer, and once you have dried off inside one, the old cut feels like a hand towel with ambition.
What does 600 GSM mean in practice?
Grams of cotton per square metre. At 600 the towel holds more water per pass and keeps its pile through washing. The trade is longer dryer time, which the care guide covers honestly.
Do the colours match across collections?
Yes, and that is the point of the palette. The same dyes run through every cut, so a bath sheet and a washcloth in navy match whether they were bought together or years apart.
How often should towels be washed?
Dermatology guidance we cite on the care page: bath and hand towels at least weekly, washcloths at least a couple of times a week, more in a humid house. Hang towels spread on a bar between uses so they dry fully.
Why is there no fabric softener in your care instructions?
Softener coats cotton loops with a residue that makes towels less absorbent and eventually stiff. Proper detergent, warm water and a full dry do everything softener pretends to.
Is the price on this site the price I will pay?
It is the figure from our last update, dated on the page. Prices move between updates, and the button on each colour opens the current one, which is the only price that counts.
Where does my order actually happen?
Not here. Every buy button opens the checkout for that colour, where payment, delivery and returns are handled. This site is the catalogue: the cuts, the colours, the honest table of which is which.
